I think that in every great sales persons life that there was a Joel.  I know that there was a &quot;Joel&quot; in my life. In my case, it was a Bob. Bob did everything for me that you mentioned that Joel did for you. In addition, Bob taught me(or helped me learn) to remain calm under pressure.   Bob was a ships engineer in a WWII submarine. The guy was depth charged in Tokyo Bay. Bombs could be going off in the business world and it did not phase him. We made calls together under what should have been tense situations, but Bob had a way of defusing(no pun) the atmosphere.  I learned from his example and think that he has helped me. 

Bob is gone now,  but I did have a chance to say thank you.</description>
